Our propagation gardens are located in and around Tettnang, as we attach great importance to regional seed production. You are welcome to visit our propagation area in Argental near Laimnau. We also organise seasonal tomato tastings and garden tours as well as courses on seed production. These can also be requested separately if the group size is large enough.
You never stop learning in the garden and there is always something to discover.
Take a guided tour in Laimnau and discover the diversity of our vegetable varieties.
Get to know flavourful and robust garden rarities and historical vegetable and learn about their cultivation and use. Be inspired by the plants and the stories about almost forgotten and endangered varieties and their revitalisation. Experience the diversity of cultivated plants in the Tatgut show garden in Laimnau.
There is something for everyone here! From forgotten cultivated vegetables such as the 'sugar root' and rarities from all over the world, such as the 'Tomatillo', to the great variety of local varieties such as the 'Swabian bean'. Organic gardening and seed production for the preservation of crop diversity are present themes of the garden.
We look forward to your visit! The garden in Germanenstraße can be explored at any time. You can also register for a garden tour (places are limited) or make your own appointment as a group.
