Phaseolus vulg. var. nanus
Pip bean with flat, red-speckled, pods and resistance to virus.
The variety has beautifully patterned, late-maturing beans that gradually turn speckled red in the pod and kernel. The pods are flat, initially threadless, about 12-13 cm long and form 5-7 grains per pod. The variety is very popular in Italy and known for its aromatic taste.
