.Traditional variety from the Fildern with medium-late, sugar-rich heads -for many the best sauerkraut variety.
The historic Filderspitzkraut is a fine-leaved single-cut cabbage and forms large, pointed heads (weighing 6-8 kg). These are harvested after approx. 3 months and, in addition to their main use as sauerkraut, are also good as a raw vegetable.
