Physalis pruinosa
Sweet, orange, cherry-sized nasal berries with a fruity taste, which also ripen outdoors from July.
The ripe earth cherries fall off and can be stored for a few more weeks surrounded by the shell. In terms of taste, the fruits are similar to the Andean berries, only slightly smaller, sweeter and ripe earlier.
