Zea mays convar. amylacea

Exciting variety with intricately patterned white-purple-blue grains.

The "Montana Cudu" variety comes from a historic Indian variety and can be prepared young or later used as flour corn. The soft cobs can be eaten fresh, boiled or grilled and taste hearty like corn. The mature, hard corn kernels can be processed into flour. The plants grow to a height of approx. 1.30 m and take approx. 4 months to mature (after 3 months of use of the young cobs). The cobs ripen on the lower third of the plants and have about 12 grain rows.

Spacing: 45 x 15 cm
