Citrullus lanatus
Beautiful watermelon, with delicious red flesh and good yields.
Variety discovery from Missouri in America. It first became known in 1926. What is particularly striking are the yellow dots on a blue-green background, which are reminiscent of a night sky with moons and stars and give the melon its name. The flesh is dark pink, sweet and very tasty. The plant produces fruits weighing 5 - 10 kg and also delivers very good yields in Germany.
