Citrullus lanatus
Small watermelon with a yellow skin and sweet pink flesh for the balcony and garden.
This strain is originally from New Hampshire. Due to its smaller fruits (1-1.5 kg), it is well suited to our climate and the associated short growing season. Its growth is also relatively compact, which is why it also thrives in pots or flower boxes on the balcony. The fruits turn from green to golden yellow as they grow, making it easy to identify ripe fruits.
Distance: 80 x 50 cm
[Growing: from April; E: August-September]
