Daucus carota
Vigorous, historic storage variety with a short form, aromatic flavour and great purple-red colour.
The approx. 10-15 cm long carrots from Ticino are yellowish-white on the inside and decoratively purple on the outside. The variety grows comparatively slowly and reacts sensitively to waterlogging.
