The Kuroda carrot has a strong dark orange colour, is broad at the top and tapers towards the thin tip. Originating from Eastern Europe, the carrot is adapted to strong changes between heat and cold and therefore thrives in different climatic conditions. The carrot is also characterised by its rapid growth.
