.Fest-fleshed, round, black radish that can be stored until March/April.
Great winter variety with robust skin and high vitamin C content and expectorant mustard oils. Slightly sharper than the light varieties, but this can be toned down by salting. An effective cough syrup can also be made from the radish without much effort with the help of honey.
