Fleshy tomato with slightly ribbed purple-pink fruits from the USA.
This beautiful variety was bred by Brad Gates at Wild Boar Farms in California. The 100-150g fruits hang from the plant like little jewels, turning a dark purple colour on the shoulders when exposed to sunlight due to the high proportion of the plant pigment anthocyanin. The flavour is sweet and spicy with almost creamy flesh. The pole tomato, which can grow up to 2 metres tall, feels particularly at home in a greenhouse.
